What Can You Learn This Valentine’s Day?

Just like you, we are shifting into over-drive for the Valentine’s Day holiday. The next 15 days will be a wild ride, and we are coming along, so scoot over!

First of all, make a note that the whole Sun Valley team is here to help you have a successful holiday. Personally, this is my sixth Valentine’s Day in the flower world. It is amazing how these holidays actually mark time. This is where we get “war stories”, this is where we have epic saves or near misses, and this is where we just keep our head down and keep on keepin’ on until the dust settles.

 Here on the farm, one of my favorite parables usually told in the heat of battle is,
“You can learn a 100 different lessons during Valentine’s Day in the flower business, but you can only learn one lesson per year.”

Every year we come through Valentine’s Day wiser. This institutional and personal knowledge is learned and collected the old fashion way, EXPERIENCE!
