We love going to trade shows. Not only do we get to meet and enjoy the company of the people we work with long distance every day and catch up with the our trade show family, friends who we only see once or twice a year at floral events; we also get to break out of our daily routines and remember just how remarkable our flowers really are. And if we sometimes get a little bit theatrical about sharing that with all of you…well, can you really blame us?

2012 IFE - Because how do you make a cherry red convertible even cooler? Fill it with flowers, of course! |
One of the biggest floral events of the year is the International Floriculture Expo, or IFE.
Each June, vendors and customers gather in a celebration of all things floral. The first day is devoted to workshops in business, marketing and arranging, then for the remaining two days attendees are free to wander the booths and experience the very best the floral world has to offer.
In anticipation of the event, we would like to offer a few pictures of our booths from year’s past.

2010's booth invited you to wander through a flower garden to a central color wheel. |

2011 - Boots!! |
Check out this
past post from a returning IFE attendee to read about all the fun of the boots, and Lane's scheme for using Tulips when the show was done.
|
In addition to the car, 2012 featured a wheel of hanging tulips. Flowers aren't for eating, Rodi! |
2012 was the year of
adventures in the Mini Convertible and an evening of
free flowers for Miami pedestrians.
|
In 2013 our booth was the place to Talk Flowers - or at least to play peek-a-boo with a sales rep behind a bucket. |
Talking flowers - and how Pieter Landman transformed
Bon Jovi's fashion sense.
|
In 2014, we indulged our love of building with blocks to create a space for Moments of Awe. |
We have some great surprises planned for you this year, so if you're at the show be sure to come by Booth #847 and say hello!
